 Bandage Material
Five rolls of four-inch wide by five-yard long quick setting premium quality plaster of paris bandage material (25 square feet of material)
The casting material contains fine cotton gauze and generous amounts of plaster of paris. When applied to mom's skin, it is creamy and able to capture all the fine details of a mom's expecting form. The combination of the fine gauze and amounts of plaster of paris allows the caster to get an incredibly smooth finish during the casting itself. Plaster is quick setting material to minimize the amount of time mom needs to sit and wait for her cast to dry. The casting material is made from 100% natural materials and is non-toxic and safe to use on mom's skin. There is no heat reaction when applied to mom's skin unlike bulk plaster of paris that can be purchased in a hobby or home improvement store.
Vaseline®
Extensive research and testing has been done as to what lubricant to use in the kit to provide the best barrier between mom's skin and the casting material. It was concluded that Vaseline® is simply the best product available to make the belly casting process safe and comfortable for mom. In addition, Vaseline® contains no colors, fragrances or irritants, is hypo-allergenic and will not clog pores. Physicians and hospitals recommend and use Vaseline® on all their patients from newborns to the elderly and have been doing so for many years. No other product can make that same claim.
Drop Cloth
Making a pregnancy belly cast is great fun, but also is messy! Provided is a  9 x 12 drop cloth to spread and keep the drips off your floor and to also make clean up after the casting very simple.
Sanding Screen
Medium grit sanding screen is used to lightly sand your dried pregnancy belly cast to make a smoother finishing surface if you desire.
Nitrile Gloves
Nitrile gloves are made from 100% soft nitrile polymer, eliminating any probability for allergic reaction to the natural rubber proteins found in latex gloves. Nitrile gloves have excellent tensile strength and durability compared to vinyl gloves. They also conform well with excellent elasticity compared to vinyl gloves.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Making a ProudBody Pregnancy Belly Cast is a very simple craft. Provided is easy and thorough instructions (including images) to guide you every step of the way. In about 30 minutes, you will create a perfect 3D memento of your beautiful pregnant form and a wonderful family heirloom. Instructions are written in English, French and Spanish.
Decorating Sheet
Each kit contains a decorating sheet printed in color containing hundreds of ideas for decorating your completed pregnancy belly cast.
